Overview

The Cordless Blower Vac is a dual-function garden tool designed for both blowing and vacuuming leaves and light garden debris. To ensure safe and efficient operation, the unit must be correctly assembled, fully charged, and set to the appropriate mode before use.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Assemble the Blower Vac

  • Insert the suction pipe into the main unit
  • Screw it firmly into place to secure it
  • Attach the shoulder strap to the designated mounting points

Important: Ensure all components are fully tightened before use to prevent movement during operation.

Step 2: Charge the Battery

Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged.

Important notes:

  • Always remove the battery once charging is complete
  • Fully charge before first use
  • Use only the correct 20V battery pack for your model
  • Ensure the charger matches the mains voltage rating

Charging process:

  • Plug the charger into a mains socket
  • The red LED will illuminate
  • Align the battery grooves with the charger rails
  • Insert the battery firmly into the charger
  • During charging: red LED remains on and green LED flashes
  • When fully charged: green light becomes solid
  • Press the release button and remove the battery

Step 3: Safety Check Before Starting

Before switching on the machine:

  • Check for visible damage or defects
  • Ensure all parts are securely fitted
  • Inspect for cracks, loose fittings, or missing components
  • Do not operate the machine if any damage is found

Step 4: Insert the Battery

  • Align the battery grooves with the device slot
  • Push the battery firmly into place
  • Ensure you hear a click confirming it is locked in

Step 5: Attach the Collection Bag (Vacuum Mode Only)

  • Hook the front of the collection bag onto the unit
  • Insert the nozzle fully into the connection point
  • Ensure the bag is securely fitted

Important: The collection bag must be attached when using vacuum mode.

Step 6: Select Operation Mode

Use the adjustment lever to select the correct function:

  • Vacuum Mode (A): for collecting leaves and debris
  • Blower Mode (B): for blowing debris away

Mode switching notes:

  • Vacuum mode requires the collection bag to be attached
  • Remove the bag before switching to blower mode

Step 7: Switch the Product On/Off

  • Turn the On/Off switch to positions 1–5 to start the machine
  • Select the required speed setting within this range
  • Turn the switch to 0 to switch the machine off

Step 8: Adjust Speed

  • Lower settings: light debris and delicate areas
  • Higher settings: heavier debris and stronger airflow/suction

Frequently Asked Questions

Why won’t my blower vac start?

Check that the battery is fully charged, correctly inserted, and locked in place. Also ensure the On/Off switch is not set to 0.

Can I use vacuum mode without the bag?

No. The collection bag must be fitted for vacuum operation to work correctly and safely.

Why is the airflow weak?

Check that the suction pipe and air intake are not blocked and that the correct speed setting is selected.

How do I switch between blower and vacuum mode?

Use the adjustment lever. Remember to remove or attach the collection bag depending on the mode selected.

Do I need to fully charge the battery before first use?

Yes. A full initial charge is recommended to ensure optimal battery performance and runtime.
